Bishop Billy Saint-James
Bishop Saint-James is a founding pastor, businessman, author, musician, community activist, songwriter and a mentor. He has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies and a Masters of Divinity from Faith Bible College and Seminary. He also majored in Political Science at the University of the District of Columbia.
Bishop Saint-James was licensed 1993 and ordained in 1997 under the leadership of Dr. Earl A. Ross, Senior Pastor of the Randall Memorial Baptist Church now New Smyrna Baptist Church.
After serving as the intern-Pastor of St. Job Baptist Church in Washington, D.C for six months, Bishop Saint-James was led by God to plant Spirit of the Living God Baptist Church in August of 1999. He currently serves as 2nd Vice with the Ark United Christian Churches Internationally under the leadership of Bishop C.
Anthony Muse. Bishop Saint-James also founded and serves as the Presiding Prelate of Spirit of Christ Ministerial Council of Churches. He is the author of Weapon of Praise and Pastor’s Sermon & Bible Study Notes. Bishop Saint-James was featured in the 2022 edition of The DMV48 Men of Power and the August 2023 front cover of Celci Times magazine that publicized through out the continent of Africa.
Bishop Saint-James is a devout community leader, his associations within the DMV has fostered partnerships with many Political leaders which has led to the spreading of the gospel within the marketplaces, as well as the development of The Right to Dream Foundation, a mentorship program for at risk youth.
Bishop Saint-James is the son of the later Elder James and Mary Beale. Bishop Saint-James is married to the love of his life, the former Sandra Leonard, and is a loving father of 8 beautiful children. He is a man after God’s own heart. His favorite scripture is Isaiah 6:3; “And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

Lady Sandra Saint-James
Pastor Sandra Saint-James was born in Wilmington, North Carolina to Cicero & Getha Leonard. She is the sixth child of seven children. She was united in Holy matrimony on December 1, 1990 to Billy Saint-James and together they have six beautiful children and ten grandchildren. In March 1997, she accepted her calling, was ordained and license to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Earl A. Ross, of Randall Memorial Baptist Church, Washington, DC. now known as New Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church.
Pastor Saint-James was educated in the Maryland Public School System. She received further education at Sword of the Spirit Bible Institute and Faith Bible College Seminary School, where she received Leadership Training, Associates of Arts, Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies, and awarded an Honorary Doctor Degree from Breakthrough Bible College. She has served as a speaker and teacher at Women’s Conferences, Seminars, Retreats, Revivals, and Youth Conferences throughout North and South Carolina and the DMV.
Pastor Saint-James has since been called out to Pastor with her husband; Bishop Billy Saint-James, Senior Pastor of Spirit of the Living God Baptist Church located in Temple Hills, Maryland. During the early years, she has been active in various ministries: Praise team Leader & Choir Directress, Sunday School Teacher, Administrator for New Disciples Class, Mentor of Youth & Young Adult Counselor, Ministerial Staff Leader and Chairperson of First Lady Counsel Women’s Ministry, and Overseer of the Ministerial department. She will volunteer her services wherever and whenever God need her, in the valley or on top of the mountain, she shouts here I am Lord use me if you will in my home, the malls, grocery stores, nail salons, jails, hospitals she is willing to serve. She follows Colossians 3:23 “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;”
Pastor Saint-James is anointed to preach and teach the Word of God. She has also been gifted to sing his praises. Her favorite scripture is Psalms 150:6 “Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.” She believes that the music will draw you into the Lord’s presence and the Word of God will save your soul. Her favorite motto is Let’s Praise the Lord now, while we still have a chance because “This may be your last time”. More than the honors and degrees which have been bestowed upon her. Pastor Sandra is proud that she obeyed the call of God on her life.
